HI!
Sometimes, pictures and texts and conversation just are not enough!
At Gregory Palm Farms, house calls make a difference! We meet you and see your location. The discussions about which palms are needed as well as the "how" to install them, is the best part of a house call.
How much does sand weigh?
A LOT! This load probably over 20,000 pounds.
Why is that important to know?
The weight of the sand, and the weight of the palm tree, all are intricate on the delivery of the palm trees. The trucks can only hold a specific amount of weight so knowing all the different aspects of the delivery is paramount!
The sand is for the Palm trees and their installation! It makes a difference between a palm tree installation and a GREAT PALM TREE INSTALLATION!

Hi!
HOW DOES A GRADE A CANARY ISLAND DATE PALM, TURN INTO A GRADE D?
It's really simple. Whoever trimmed the Canary was unprofessional and careless. When they trimmed the Canary's trunk, they dug too deep with either a chainsaw or cutting blade into the trunk's fiber as shown in the video below. Basically, hacking rather than trimming. They did not keep with the line of the width of the trunk while working their way up to the crown.
In order to keep your Canary Island Palm looking the best it can, call Gregory Palm Farms. These are our trees below and you can see the difference.
Hi
Here's another opportunity to see happiness.... everywhere.
"IF YOU HAVE GOOD THOUGHTS THEY WILL SHINE OUT OF YOUR FACE LIKE SUNBEAMS
AND YOU WILL ALWAYS LOOK LOVELY."
By Roald Dahl
I hope for good thoughts everyday that out number the bad ones.
Palms! That's a good thought.

WHY ARE CALIFORNIA QUEEN PALMS BETTER THAN, WHAT?
California Queen Palms are best because this is our climate. Florida Queen palms are puny and easily yellow giving the Queen palm a bad rap! When the Queen palms are grown in California, they experience a wide variety of weather and water restrictions. Florida is humid with lots of moisture that we here in California, can't and don't want to duplicate.
Save yourself stress and anxiety, buy California Grown Queen Palms. They are gorgeous and full and shady and drought resistant and just plain wonderful!

Unfortunately, when one leaves the trunk un-skinned, the canary's short fronds begin to deteriorate and cause moisture and bugs to get in. As seen in the video below.
Our advice: Trim those Canary Palms
