YESTERDAY, THE JOB STARTED EARLY ON THE FARM AND ENDED LATE IN MANHATTAN BEACH.

WHAT DID HE WANT?

THIS MAGNIFICENT ROYAL PALM. IT'S SELF CLEANING AND ROBUST.

WE ARE PLANTING MORE, BUT THIS BABY HAD TO BE FIRST.

Royal Palm- Roystonea Regia

Roystonea regia, commonly known as the Cuban royal palm, Florida royal palm, or simply the royal palm is a species of palm which is native to southern Florida, Mexico and parts of Central America and the Caribbean.

Roystonea Regia Palm Characteristics Stem/Trunk The trunk is light grey to white and distinctly ringed in its younger parts with darker leaf base scars. Has a distinctive green crown shaft that can be up to 6' tall. Trees have 15 leaves up to 13 ft. long. Exposure Sunny conditions, high light requirements Soil Amended uniform Water Royals like water and look best when given adequate amounts Growth Rate Moderate growth 1' per year, can reach heights 66 - 98' tall

This palm will grown into a large palm which reaches a height of 66–98 ft tall, and a stem diameter of about 19 in.
