Have you heard of the pony tail palm or Elephants foot palm? They are very slow growing, require very little water and make unique beautiful potted palms for indoors with the added benefit of natural air purification. Yes, palm plants help clean our air in our homes. Kentia Palms and pigmy palms also do great indoors given their slow growth rate. They thrive well with just indoor light and lower humidity. We have these Palms in 5 gallons and 15 gallon pots. These would make an excellent any time of the year gift!

Before we recommend any product, we try it first!
The lighting is no exception. So, we used solar lights purchased at Home Depot to see if they would really work. With the spike that came with the light, we planted them right next to the Queen palms shining up the trunk. Last night, the tree was a glow!
The cost was inexpensive and the best part was we won't use any electricity!
So, finish off your palm landscape with lighting and solar is a great option!

Why choose palm trees over other types of trees? What makes a palm special one might ask? Here’s a few of the many reasons that makes palms so special.
Palms are great for our environment: Indoor and outdoor air purification. The Pygmy Date is one of the best for both indoor and outdoor purification. Palms grow many fruits we enjoy including coconuts, açaà fruit, nuts, the popular Medjool dates and even make wine. Many palms are drought resistant once established and that is a huge plus with the state wide drought many are facing.
Many palms are low maintenance and palm roots are non invasive and will not crack and ruin hardscape’s.

Facts aside, I find palms so special because they create the most amazing silhouettes during a sunset and a peaceful tropical escape right outside my home, surrounding the pool and other areas.
