Did you know that... Palms are evergreen.

The most tropical plant in the family is a Palmae (also known as Arecaceae). There are over 2500 species of palms.

Most Palms are tree-like, with single trunks and either fan shaped (palmate) or feather shaped (pinnate) compound leaves.
