IT'S REALLY BLUE!
The palm pictured above us is such a blue beauty! Gregory Palm Farms presents the Mexican Blue known also by its scientific name Brahea Armata. The Mexican Blue Palm is a famous hardy blue palm from Mexico. It has stiff, fan shaped leaves of a stunning pale blue color. It does great in a conservatory, or sunny spot in the garden. It needs well drained soil, does not require a lot of water and it can withstand -10ºC or so when larger. It is much happier, and faster growing when planted in the ground and can grow up to around 40 feet.

The Windmill Palm is a great cold tolerant Palm example! This is a very cold hardy palm indeed because they can withstand the cold all the way down to 0 degrees! How are they so cold hardy? The tree has a thin trunk covered with hair like fibers to insulate them! They are hairy palms, I like to say. You can literally plant these anywhere, even coastal! What is a Triangle palm? The botanical name is a Neodypsis decaryi. A plain figure with three straight sides and three angles.
THE FRONDS ACTUALLY GROW IN A TRIANGULAR SHAPE, GIVING A THREE DIMENSIONAL TRUNK AND OFFERING MORE PRIVACY. DISTINCT PALMS

We are the only farm that actually grows these awesome palm trees.
They are LOW maintenance, LOW water, SLOW growing and they are so pretty with their three sided trunk. Their fronds are a gorgeous blueish-green and their trunks are white!!!! The contrast is like no other.
Their trunk resembles a Rhinoceros!!! Seriously! It's soft and velvety!!
As they grow tall, their trunk becomes smooth like a Canary Palm with the top still in a triangle. They are well paired with the Dact, and the Mexican Blue Fan Palm - all by the way,
with that pretty blueish-green coloring.
