Good Morning All,

The  Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana or better known as the King Palm is a fascinating palm. A King Palm is a widely adaptable palm that adds stately accent to any landscape. This popular, elegant, and fast-growing palm from southern and eastern Australia has grass green leaves, a slim trunk, and a long, smooth crownshaft. An easy-to-grow plant suitable for cool temperate to tropical climates, or for indoors if given bright light. The King Palm is also self-cleaning. All Gregory Palm Farms King Palms are grown locally in our Southern California Nursery.

Come by to find your King or give us a call at 714-814-8525

KING PALMS... aka Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana .... HAVE A KING AT THE GREGORY PALM FARMS (714)814-8525/760)975-4605 open daily

Hi!

The King Palm aka Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana.... say that three times fast!

These palms are SELF CLEANING!! THAT'S RIGHT! SELF CLEANING! HOW???

When the old fronds are ready to go, THEY FALL OFF! THAT's right! The old dead fronds fall to the ground and you just toss them away! Or better yet, make a mulch of them.

The trunks are reddish with green new growth. They are really pretty actually.

As the old fronds fall off, a smooth trunk is left....

The canopy from a king is full and lovely!

AND, IF YOU WANT BABY KINGS, the females seed once the tree has about 12' of trunk.

We were asked for these seed pods by a florist. It seems they are used for all sorts of decor.

What is your KING WISH?

Do you have a palm wish?

We can assist you!!

Some might think that a successful business like ours only works with big business and the city's public works departments! The truth is, we work custom jobs for individual homeowners as well! We're family owned and family-friendly and we don't turn you down even if you think your job is too small for us (and it's not!).

Here's a job we did in Manhattan Beach for this lovely home.

Two of our Phoenix Dactyliferas -- commonly known as date palms-- elegantly frame this home at it's backyard.

If you have a custom job of your own in mind for your home, give us a call!
