What is a Chinese Fan Palm aka Chinensis?
It's a hardy palm in a class all its own.
This palm is an extremely slow grower! This double trunk has been growing for over 25 years.
It looks delicate by the width of the trunk but it's not!
This Fan Palm is so hardy and can take very hot or cold weather.
Cost? aout $300.00 per foot.
This slow grower has unique fronds!
The fronds are so rich in color. The green in its body is deep and rich, like a toss between a
Kelly green and a Deep forest green.
Each of the fronds have slits in them and actually bend downwards setting off such a graceful movement.

Gregory Palm Farms has many sizes of the Windmill palm also known as Trachycarpus Fortunei. The Windmill Palm is great for indoor and outdoor landscaping and can withstand hot and cold climates.They are easily identified with their "hairy" trunks. Those fibres insulates the tree during those extreme weather patterns.
It is a single trunk palm that can reach 8-10 feet when mature. All it needs is well drained soil, partial shade and adequate moisture!

These beauties just received a healthy pineapple trim and are going to be prepared for delivery and install for a new customer in Yorba Linda.
