Hi!

I have had a few inquiries about the Windmill Palm...aka Trachycarpus fortunei!

I call them our "hairy" palms. Why? They have a hairy-type trunk. It insulates them from the extreme hot and cold. They are an unusual palm with a "windmill" type head.

What size are you looking for???

We have them!

We have them in all sizes. They line Newport Boulevard in Newport Beach... close to Pacific Coast Highway. They are lovely by themselves or teamed with other palms and plants.

This Windmill is ten feet tall ... probably taller actually. See the trunk? It's really unique. Only the Windmill palm has it.

"The trunk is very rough with the persistent leaf bases clasping the stem as layers of coarse fibrous material. It is a fan palm with the leaves with the long petiole bare except for two rows of small spines, terminating in a rounded fan of numerous leaflets."

Its trunk is among one of the hardiest of the palm trees and its leaves, up to three feet in diameter, create a beautiful natural canopy wherever you plant them-- even more so if they're planted in groups.
