This elegant palm is originally found mainly in mountainous forest areas in Northern India, Nepal, Southern China, and Northern Thailand where it survives in some of the world's colder climates--That means it will survive a California winter without a flinch! Its trunk is among one of the hardiest of the palm trees and its leaves, up to three feet in diameter, create a beautiful natural canopy wherever you plant them-- even more so if they're planted in groups.
