Sago Palm Characteristics
Stem/Trunk	Tall trunk on old specimens, 8-10in diameter; more fern-like when small; produces offsets at base
Exposure	Full sun or part shade
Soil	Prepared, not tolerant of alkaline soils, good drainage
Water	Regular, although drought tolerant once established
Growth Rate	10ft, frond spread 3-6ft; extremely slow growth

Sago palms are easy to care for but do require special needs, such as bright light, although they will tolerate low-light conditions. What they will not tolerate, however, is too much moisture. Sago palms prefer to be situated in well-drained soil, and like other cycad plants, they do not respond well to overwatering. In fact, too much water can quickly lead to root rot and eventual death.

Hi!

We arrived at Palos Verdes yesterday afternoon to install

4 beautiful field grown Canaries.

With the help of our equipment and crew, we were able 

to get the job done quickly.

With plywood and ramps, it was the only way to get those trees to the site!

Yay, for the excavator and mini telehandler! These two machines make the job so much easier and quick!  

The trees were carried to the back and placed where the customer had marked!

Two more of the Canary Island Date Palms are in!

We made sure that the future growth would not impede on the fencing or the neighbors!

Canary Installations

The past few days we worked on a big project in the city of Yorba Linda.

We installed 2 beautiful and huge Canaries over 30' tall. 

We started off to a early and busy morning on Wednesday!

With the help of The Crane Guys we were able to pull out the two Canaries and place them 

on our truck trailers to have them transported to their new home.
