What size Canary palm are you looking for? It’s important to keep in mind when buying one. There’s two correct ways to measure. There’s the clear trunk height (CTH) and brown trunk height (BTH). Clear trunk height is the trunk up to the pineapple. Brown trunk height is up to the base of the crown. Pictured is a 6 foot brown trunk high measurement. The clear trunk that you can see ending at the pineapple is five foot. We measure our trees brown trunk height ending at the base of the crown because it’s the most accurate.

What is a Triangle palm? The botanical name is a Neodypsis decaryi. A plain figure with three straight sides and three angles.

As they grow tall, their trunk becomes smooth like a Canary Palm with the top still in a triangle. They are well paired with the Dact, and the Mexican Blue Fan Palm - all by the way,

Sago palmsare a wonderful plant for both indoor and outdoor use. It looks great in the shrub border or as an accent on an expanse of lawn or near the patio. Sago Palm Characteristics
Stem/Trunk: Tall trunk on old specimens, 8-10in diameter; more fern-like when small; produces offsets at base
Exposure: Full sun or part shade
Soil: Prepared, not tolerant of alkaline soils, good drainage
Water: Regular, although drought tolerant once established
Growth Rate: 10ft, frond spread 3-6ft; extremely slow growth

I have had a few inquiries about the Windmill Palm...aka Trachycarpus fortunei!
I call them our "hairy" palms. Why? They have a hairy-type trunk. It insulates them from the extreme hot and cold. They are an unusual palm with a "windmill" type head.
What size are you looking for???
