WHAT IS A BLACK DATE PALM?
It is the biggest I have ever seen. The trunk is massive, the fronds are thick and shooting out almost 20 feet.
THEY ARE CALLED BLACK SPHINX DATE PALMS.
The fruit is actually black in color with the sweetest taste of all the date palms.
This massive Date Palm is a ONE OF A KIND!
We planted it today at our Pauma Valley farm and it is so impressive.
