Hi!
Why do we tie up the fronds on a palm tree during transport?
It is so important to tie-up those fronds for not only the safety of the palm, but also for the health of the palm.
When a palm is transplanted, it is generally better to leave the fronds tied up to give the plant time to acclimate and push new growth in their new home. It doesn't look very good for most people however it's a really smart thing to do.
The process of tying up the palm makes it even easier for us and we move it to the waiting truck. It would be better sad seeing the palm swinging around with fronds banging against the tractors. Simple solutions are often the better choice.

Triangle Palms has their root-ball wrapped, fronds tied and are being hoisted onto the trailer for their new home.We guarantee our palms so you can rest assured.
