We just sold another Canary Island Date Palm for Anaheim Hills yesterday!

Our customer, Christopher, has dreamed of a canary in his back yard...

So, this beautiful Canary will be flying high over his home to the back yard installation!!

What size Crane you ask to move such a huge palm tree....

150 ton crane!

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO SEND A 12,000 POUND CANARY ISLAND DATE PALM FLYING?

A BIG 160 TON CRANE!!!

HOW DO WE DO IT?

IT IS ALL ABOUT ORGANIZATION BECAUSE WITH A 160 TON CRANE,

TIME EQUALS BIG MONEY!!!

THE CRANE'S MONEY CLOCK STARTS WHEN IT LEAVES THE YARD, AND 

ENDS WHEN IT RETURNS!!!

TO LIFT THIS CANARY UP AND OVER CHRIS' HOME, IT TOOK A 160 TON CRANE, A SECONDARY "DOLLY" (TRUCK TRAILER),

WITH A BOOM STRETCH OF 160 FEET.

WHY THE EXTRA TRAILER? 

THE TAILER WAS THE 80,000 POUND COUNTER WEIGHT SO THE CRANE WOULDN'T FLIP OVER WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE PALM TREE.

ALL IN ALL, IT TOOK THE CRANE, THE DOLLY,  THE TRAILER AND THE SECONDARY SEMI FOR THIS JOB!

WE USED THE CRANE FOR A TOTAL OF THREE HOURS! 

THAT IS SPECTACULAR!!!

Good Morning All,

Gregory Palm Farms had the pleasure of doing a job out in Trabucco Canyon this week, here are some pictures of the job. The palms had to be lifted over the house onto the back yard by a crane. That is something that is done when the side entrances aren't wide enough to get the palms through or if the palms are too heavy to man-power it to the back yard. What a site to see, flying palms!!
