A King Palm is a widely adaptable palm that adds stately accent to any landscape. This popular, elegant, and fast-growing palm from southern and eastern Australia has grass green leaves, a slim trunk, and a long, smooth crown shaft. An easy-to-grow plant suitable for cool temperate to tropical climates, or for indoors if given bright light. The King Palm is also self-cleaning. All Gregory Palm Farms King Palms are grown locally in our Southern California Nursery.

I just had a customer ask what the difference between a palm tree's height of BTH (Brown Trunk Height) and CTH (Clear Trunk Height).

So, I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to re-blog the measuring system for a Palm.

          7. The CTH... Clear Trunk Height... This measurement is just the trunk height only... to the top of the pineapple in this picture above.
