It's Friday!

It's been a busy week here at Gregory Palm Farms!

Once again we've managed to get through the week. 

Wrapping up this week getting one of our projects done out in Garden Grove.

We've been working hard to make Jose's home a beautiful site with amazing palm trees!

 Loading our trucks to get on the road!

 Looking forward to a busy week before Thanksgiving! 

We have deliveries heading out all over town. 

This morning we started off in Newport Beach installing beautiful King and Queen palms.

. 

We'll be looking at another delivery to a beautiful home in Mission Viejo to install a selection of Pygmy Date Palms.

A little rain will not stop us from prepping our weeks deliveries.

Palm Photo Spotlight: Giant Fishtail Palm

One of the most unique palms that I have to come to adore is the visually stunning, Giant Fishtail palm. These beautiful palms are native to India, Thailand and Laos. They are considered to have a moderately fast growth rate and can reach towering heights of 40ft. Fishtails require constantly moist soil and can either thrive under full sun exposure or partial shade.

The palm gets its name from the striking resemblance its leaves has to a fish tail. This is actually the main reason I find this tree so visually appealing.

From this angle they look like butterflies. So pretty!

I would love to lounge under one of these palms, with its huge delicate canopy of fishtails swaying in the slight breeze.
