• Also known as the three sided palm
• No pruning is required
• Palm is naturally resistant to pests
• Propagated by seeds that germinate in 2-3 months
• Small to medium size palm with a moderate to fast growth rate
• Can grow up to 10-20 feet tall and 10-15 feet wide
• Drought tolerant once established 
• Can grow indoors as well
• Has Blueish green fronds
• Produces yellow-green flowers
• Palm is monoecious, male and female flowers are born on the same plant
• Palm blooms all year round making it a colorful palm
• Rare Palm harder to find
• Great palm for containers/pots and planters

Cool little fun fact about Date palms is Pygmy Dates, the Senegal Date Palm and the Phoenix Dactylifera Date palm all produce edible dates! Yes the smaller dates are more bitter and not so palatable like the Phoenix Dates but they are edible!
