| Roystonea Regia Palm Characteristics | |
| Stem/Trunk | The trunk is light grey to white and distinctly ringed in its younger parts with darker leaf base scars. Has a distinctive green crown shaft that can be up to 6' tall. Trees have 15 leaves up to 13 ft. long. |
| Exposure | Sunny conditions, high light requirements |
| Soil | Amended uniform |
| Water | Royals like water and look best when given adequate amounts |
| Growth Rate | Moderate growth 1' per year, can reach heights 66 - 98' tall |

Irvine Stop...
Last week Friday was our destination to Irvine.
There, we installed two 20' Phoenix Dactyliferas on Tenderfoot Ave.
