What is a Canary Island Date Palm, aka Phoenix Canariensis?
They are the most robust trees of the date family. Unlike the Dactylifera, the Canary Palm has a full top with fronds reaching up to 25.' Their trunks are full and fat, 6' in diameter.
Their canopy is recognizable immediately and stand with the grace and elegance of no other tree or palm tree.
